Using the Shimeji

Alright, so when you start using a Shimeji, an icon shows up on your taskbar. Right clicking on this will open a menu in moonspeak, so I'm putting the options here if you want to use them:
1. Create a new shimeji
2. Have the shimeji come over to your mouse and sit (they'll also watch your mouse as it moves around)
3. Delete all shimeji but one
4. Return any screens the shimeji may have thrown off
5. Exit

if you get tired of your shimejis just sitting there, toss em all over the place and they'll go back to normal.

If anyone is into Pokemans, then head on over to

and take a look. If you see one you like, head over to the left side to the Files link and find it it for download. My favorite right now is Jasmine, but they have quite a few other trainers and a bunch of pokemon.

Someone told me that people like reading about celebrities, so I thought, why not like having celebrities running around your desktop? So I decided to make a series of celebrity Shimeji for the populace to enjoy.
First on the list: Mr. T

Still working on the body, but I think the face captures the pity for the fools not using Mr. T as a desktop pet.

 The blank one is actually pretty cool. He'll just kick it there, all casual like. It's pretty alright.
Owlman is a little fruity, but not outright flaming, like most of the godless creations I've come across.
Rorschach is pretty cool. Trollface is just creepy. Especially with a bunch of them running around.

-THE BASICS-
to use these guys, unpack the rar files, then open the folder and click on the Shimeji icon. it looks like the blank one inside a tiny computer monitor. Once you click on the icon, the shimeji should fall onto your desktop. Once he's there, you can click and drag him all over the place, and he can climb up the sides of your screen and on your windows. After a while, these bastards will start multiplying without warning. If that's too much for you, you can right click on the shimeji and click the moonspeak that shows up to turn the shiumeji off.

It's pretty decent having these guys hang out on your screen. They just chill out mostly.

Just Started

Hey, Paul here. Maybe you've heard of these little bastards, maybe you haven't. I know that I love these fuckers, running all over my desktop. They're called Shimeji (which is Japanese for Mushroom?) but are basically desktop pets. They crawl around your screen, climb up the sides, mess with your windows, and even multiply. Anyway, I'll be looking for more of these guys around the interbutts, as well as making my own.
